We did muster up enough strength to head down to the playground with the kids and the dog this afternoon. It was beautiful outside and with rain forecasted for tomorrow there was little that could keep us from the few peeks of sun we saw today. The kids had a great time at the playground and when we got back home there was some basketball and sidewalk chalk going on for a little while. Then our neighbor came over and invited the kids to their daughter's 7th birthday party. Ian was clearly feeling well, and I agreed to let them head over for some fun. There were hamburgers, presents, a piñata, and the all-mighty cake and ice cream! What a nice surprise for Taylor and Ian! They said that the birthday girl had a great time and that she received a lot of nice gifts today. Panod and I were very thankful for some quiet time! We'll have to pay back our neighbors for that one.
