The daily rush

Taylor began a new class through community ed today called, “Just for Girls" and it runs every Wed. for the next six weeks. It seems like every time one of the kids starts a new class, we have to learn a whole new schedule for that day. But it adds some variety to what would be an otherwise monotonous life. (Ha!) It turned out that we had enough time today to go from getting Ian at preschool, and picking up Taylor over at her school, to stop over at our favorite coffee shop - The Java Train, before heading over to Just for Girls over at Dayton's Bluff Rec. Center. The food at The Java Train is always amazing and there aren't enough words to describe some of the drinks we've had! Between the two-level train for the kids to climb in, the seemingly endless rows of 25 cent toy and candy machines and the free wireless for me to surf on - we are all always happy there. It was wonderful to have some down time with the kids before running off to do the rest of our day. Once the kids and I finished up our treats and headed over to Taylor's class, the day ended up taking its toll on Ian and he drifted off to sleep in the warm, quiet van. He woke in a cheerful mood once we arrived at Dayton's Bluff, and Taylor was more than excited to meet her new friends for the next hour. The class ended up going well - they made great looking t-shirts and won great prizes while playing bingo. Tay can't wait to go back next week and Ian is looking forward to his class there tomorrow - "Sporties for Shorties."
