Recycling clothes and other fun things

Ian and I spent the morning going through closets and dressers to purge the old summer clothing in order to make room for the inevitable incoming new summer clothing. There were _five_ bags we squeezed into the back of the van and hauled off to Goodwill, and there was one large basket we brought to Once Upon a Child where you can bring in and exchange kid stuff. We exchanged the clothes in the basket for credit and spent that credit on new clothes. It worked out very well & we got nearly everything the kids will need for the summer! Ian spent the entire time looking at the books, movies, and toys, while I got all of their summer clothes. Bless the day I can clothes shop for *both* of them and not have to contend with the meltdowns or the occasional broken expensive item that makes you wonder why a store would put it so low to the ground that a toddler can reach it, anyway. Not that that particular thing has ever happened to us at say.... Dayton's before. Ahem

Ian still has his cold, but he was clearly feeling much better today. I think he's on the tail end of it now, but he does seem to be losing his voice. lol Try telling a four-year-old not to talk!

We wrapped up the day by picking up Taylor and heading over for Occupational Therapy. We also had to go to Super Target, and I snapped this picture of the kids coming out. It was pouring rain and the look on their faces says it all - Ian wanted to play in it and Taylor wanted to go back inside.

We are all pretty excited about Disney on Ice tomorrow!
